Calling all Melbourne funeral celebrants!

The way we do funerals is changing.

Families are rejecting tradition and don’t want their loved one’s funeral to be the same thing that they have seen many times with only the name changed.  They are no longer satisfied with doing things in a set format.

They want control over how the life of their loved one is honoured.

As a funeral celebrant, our role is to work closely with families to create a ceremony with particular emphasis on personalising it through the use of words, rituals, and music

I am passionate about sharing what I have learned over the last 11 years in the funeral industry, sharing the skills necessary to be the best funeral celebrant you can be for your families, and how to avoid making a funeral feel generic.

If this speaks to you, I invite you to come along for this intimate workshop on growing learning to be a better celebrant.

I can’t emphasis enough how important it is to keep learning and to keep investing in ourselves as professional celebrants.

I want to give you practical steps and takeaways to how you can make every funeral feel different and that you don’t end up doing the same thing time and time again.

In this class I am going to help you to;

- find ways to personalise a funeral without words

- give you the confidence to break the rules so that your funerals don’t feel generic

- ask the right questions to find creative ways to personalise ceremonies.

- avoid spending wasteful hours on google

There are people out there who need you to show them that things can be done differently.

I recently helped to celebrate the life of a wonderful man who died on his birthday, which as you can imagine is a very rare phenomenon.
According to Judaism, it is considered very special as it indicates you have completed your earthly mission. #

I have a love hate relationship with Instagram. More and more it is forcing us to follow trends that make us do things not because we want to but because the algorithm likes it.
I set up this Instagram account not to showcase the work that I do but
I love to watch the sunrise. I am in Queensland for a few days and today I set my alarm to watch the sunrise over the city. There is something magical about day break. It is a reminder that even the longest, darkest night will end and the sun will
