To those who find Mothers Day triggering

Earlier this week was Mothers Day.  A day celebrated by many but equally a difficult day for many others.

I am acutely aware of the influx of social media posts on such a day.  I try not to add to the noise on such occasions.

I know it can be important in the days after, to reach out to those who need extra support and love, to acknowledge their struggles.

So those who wait, those who mourn, those whose arms ache, those whose heart ache, those without support, those who are disappointed, those who are broken, those who aren’t sure who they are, those who are brave and to all those who find mothers day very difficult, I see you today and every day and  I am sending much love to those whose hearts are hurting and need some extra TLC this week.

If like me until I began working in this space, were unaware how difficult Mother’s day may be for some, it’s never too late to reach out and offer support.
